What a transformational game is and how it works

A transformational game is a structured self-discovery practice in game form. The participant follows a pre-built route, works with metaphorical images and answers questions about their own life. The point is not entertainment or fortune-telling but reflection: seeing your own situation from the outside and putting your conclusions into words.

How the Source of Abundance game works

Source of Abundance is an original digital practice-based game by psychologist Saniya Alikhan. You go through it entirely on your own, online, with no facilitator. The path consists of 8 consecutive levels of consciousness and 32 steps.

  1. 1

    You state your question

Before you begin, you write down what you want to get clear on: relationships, money, self-fulfillment, your inner state or a situation that keeps repeating. That question stays with you as an anchor for the whole path.

  2. 2

    You open a card

At each step there are 25 cards with visual images and you may open only one. The choice is made once — you cannot go back or swap the card.

  3. 3

    You answer for yourself

Each image comes with questions to reflect on. You answer in writing, in your own words — and it is that wording which becomes the content of your final document.

  4. 4

    You move through the levels

This is how you work through every step — they are spread across 8 consecutive levels of consciousness, from the Sleeper to the Source. Skipping levels is not possible.

  5. 5

    You receive your document

At the end the system gathers your answers, the images you opened and your conclusions into a personal document — a “map of growth” you can download and return to later.

How a transformational game differs from working with a psychologist

These are different formats, and one does not replace the other. The game is not a medical or psychotherapeutic service, nor psychological counseling — it does not replace work with a qualified specialist.

Who it suits and who it does not

A good fit if

  • You want to make sense of a specific situation and hear your own answers
  • You feel more comfortable alone, without another person present
  • You are ready to answer yourself honestly, in writing
  • You want a structured route rather than a free-form journal
  • No prior experience of psychological work is required — any level is fine

Better to choose something else if

  • You are in an acute state or going through a crisis — that calls for a specialist’s support, not solo practice
  • You expect a diagnosis, treatment or a clinical opinion — the game does not provide that and does not replace work with a psychologist, psychotherapist or physician
  • You want guaranteed external results: income, relationships, specific events
  • You are not ready to write detailed answers — without them the final document stays empty

Frequently asked questions

What is a transformational game?

A transformational game is a structured self-discovery practice in game form: the participant follows a pre-built route, works with metaphorical images and answers questions about their own life. The point is not entertainment or fortune-telling but reflection: seeing your own situation from the outside and putting your conclusions into words.

How is a transformational game different from working with a psychologist?

In a transformational game you lead the process yourself: no specialist takes part, and the structure is provided by the levels, questions and cards. The game is not a medical or psychotherapeutic service, nor psychological counseling, and it does not replace work with a qualified specialist.

How long does Source of Abundance take?

Access to the platform opens immediately after payment and lasts 24 hours. Within that time you go through 32 steps at your own pace; we recommend setting aside a few quiet hours in advance, free of distractions.

Do I need experience with psychological work?

No. The playthrough is built as an original method with guidance at every stage and suits people with any level of experience. All you need is a willingness to answer yourself honestly.

Is this esoteric practice or fortune-telling?

No. The game is not a religious or esoteric practice: the cards work as a metaphor to think with, not as a prediction. The game offers no readings of “fate” — every conclusion is formulated by the participant.
